Road Trip Part 2!

This past weekend Andrew and I went to Atlanta since Martina was playing there.  She puts on a great show, and I can't wait to see her perform again.  On Saturday, we spent most of the day at the venue which left Sunday for us to sight see.  We went walked outside our hotel and into the Olympic Park that was built to remember the 1996 Summer games.  It was so beautiful.
The city was having a fundraiser for the local humane society.  It was so sweet seeing all the dogs playing in the park.  It really made me miss my own babies.  We ate lunch at a local restaurant right next to our hotel.  It was so good!
Then it was off to an adventure that I was really excited about.  I love the show called DoubleDivas which comes on Lifetime on Tuesday nights.  Molly and Cynthia are the craziest and sweetest owners.  I have been dying to go to the shop and just look around.  I was hoping to find some of the ladies from the show there that day.  I didn't get to see Molly and Cynthia but I did met one of the ladies from the show.
I got to meet Loren!! She is just as sweet and funny in person as she is on the show! I was hoping that she would be my sells associate, but she was really busy but didn't mind stopping at all for a quick picture.  The store looks a lot bigger on the show than it does in person.  It's a beautiful shop, and I'm upset with myself that I didn't get more pictures of the shop!

I did however get pictures of my dressing room.  Those are really nice!!

My sells associates:

I had a great time visiting the store and can't wait to go back and for them to get their new website up and going.  They really do care about the ladies that come in their shop.

Molly and Cynthia did a private fitting at a local hotel on Saturday, which was close to the hotel we stayed at.  I wished I would have known!  I would have tried to get a ticket! Oh well! Hopefully next time I will have a chance to meet them! If you are ever in Atlanta, I suggest to go to LiviRae and check out these sweet ladies!

Road Trip!!

Andrew had a show last weekend in Atlanta. So, we decided to make a weekend out of it! Soon after all my kiddos left for the weekend, we headed to Tupelo to drop the dogs off at grandparents. (Thanks Cathy and Mike for watching them for us!!). We haven't had a weekend away in a long time so I was really excited for this trip. We finally made it to Atlanta at about 2 Eastern time. We were both tired and ready for bed. I booked us a room in a really nice 4 star hotel, Omni at CNN Center, which is right down from the Georgia Dome. We could see the Georgia Dome right out our window!

The show was at Chastian Park Amphitheater. It was a really nice place. The guest brought their own picnic baskets with their dinner and wine to enjoy during the show. I have to admit; I'm really beginning to feel like an adult. I booked our room and then took my first Taxi to the park. I thought I would have my drive lost and it made me a little nervous. I decided that I would GPS the trip as we traveled to help my nerves. I guess now I should introduce Andrew's new boss. He is the Lighting Designer for Martina McBride! I'm so proud and excited for him! He makes me so happy and it makes me really happy to watch him enjoy his job as much as he does. Warning lots of pictures!

Martina moves around a lot and it's hard to get good pictures! I had a great time meeting all the guys he works with. It really does give me piece of mind that they all are working and not playing all day. I did not get a chance to meet her, but I did meet her husband and youngest daughter, John and Ava. They are the sweetest. Her daughter looks just like John.
One of Andrew's co-workers had his son out with them. It warmed my heart to see him out and learning the ropes from his dad. I asked Andrew if he would take our son out if we had one. He can't wait to teach our son the rules of the road and show him how to run lights. I can't wait until that day comes.

My man doing what he loves.

We had a great time!! I can't wait to go out with him again!! She plays Tunica in a couple of weeks!
