Snow Day!!

We were so surprised that it was going snow!! It started snowing on the 9th. We made the stupid trip to Kroger that everyone else in Hernando was making Sunday after church!! We came home and waited for the snow!! It finally started snowing at about 4:30 that afternoon. I knew I had to have pictures since I have the new camera and all!!



We went out with our neighbors, Brad and Brittany, to have some fun!! We road their four-wheeler, doing doughnuts in the street, and did a few sliding down the hill close to our house!! We had a lot of fun. We came back to our house to have hot chocolate and to play cards. We stayed up until 12:30 hanging out together!
The next day, we went out to do it all over again and to build a snow man!! The dogs loved it!! They had their sweaters on and had a blast rolling in the snow!!

We had a blast playing in the snow with our neighbors. We were invited to go to a friend's house who has a lot of hills to sled on, but we were afraid of how the roads were and decided to stay at home and spend some much needed time alone.

Christmas Part 2

I'm going to finally going to finish Christmas today! I promise. We had a great day on Christmas day. We all woke up to Cathy saying it's snowing!! It's snowing!! We all were excited!!


We went to my mom's first for breakfast. Then off to Grandma Lee's. We ate pretty much all day!! By the end of the day, I was sick of food!!




Speaking of food, Todd, Jake's dad, made us a ham to take home for Christmas day! As you can see above, Andrew got to carve the ham this year!! The ham was awesome!! I don't know what all Todd does to it, but it's the best ham I've put in my mouth!!
Since it was Jaylee's first Christmas, I wanted to see her on Christmas day!! Once we got back to my parents', Jaylee was taking a cat nap on PopPop!!

She was loving all the attention that she got once she woke up!! We opened presents with my sister and my brother-in-law.






On Sunday, we had Christmas will my grandparents. We went to Ryan's for breakfast and the to the Community Center in Shannon to open presents!





This last picture is of my whole family with my mom's mom and step dad. I guess you can now tell I look just like my mom!! My aunt from Birmingham finally got to come in later that day and we went out to eat with them that night!!
Over all, we had a great time over Christmas spending time with our family and friends in Tupelo! Sorry it took so long to post!!
