Meet Lady!!

Andrew and I have been talking the last few weeks about getting another dog. Casper and I were walking with our neighbors and their dogs on Wednesday when one of the girls asked if we wanted to see the new puppies that another neighbor had. So we went to see them, and I asked Andrew to come and look at them too. We came home in love with one of them and so had one of our other neighbors. We both fell in love with the runt of the litter. So, I text our neighbor to see if they we going to take her. They had a baby on Monday and she told me that they could not get her because it would be too much right now for them. I was so excited. I was supposed to go school yesterday but got a text from another friend that class had been canceled so I went to Wal-Mart to get Lady her new things to come home. I went nuts over the cute girl dog stuff. She has a pink and white pok-a-dot leash, collier, food bowls, and bed. She looks so cute with it too!! We named her Lady because of the movie Lady and the Tramp. Casper is not a human name so I didn't want to give her a human name. I think she will grow into her name. If you think about it they both are named after a movie. Casper the Friendly Ghost is where I got Casper's name.
So here she is:

She's a CKC black Cocker Spaniel, and she's asleep right now next to me on the couch as I type this. She is so sweet, and did really well last night. I think our neighbor kept her and her brother and sisters in a crate at night which helps us out. I'll let her move upstairs with us when she gets good and house trained.
I know you're thinking well what about Casper. We kept him. We could never let him go. He's our first child, and we love him dearly. He's not too sure about Lady because he has sat in the recliner most of the day yesterday looking at her. He's going to have to get use to her because she's not going anywhere. I hope that one day they can become great friends. I can't wait for our families to get to meet her. I know they will love her as fast as we did.

Carlie's Senior Church Service!

Carlie is my younger sister. She and I haven't always got along, but our relationship has grown since I got married and moved out of the house. We are five years apart, and we shared a room. I think that those were the reasons that we didn't get along for the most part. We have a relationship now that I would give the world for. During the time was sick, she always made sure that I had some good smelling body wash so I could smell good and feel good after a sponge bath during all those hospital visits. She shares things with me that I would never share with anyone. I have always wanted to have this kind of relationship with her, and I'm glad I have it now! :)
Carlie is now a Senior. She should not be this old! She should still be annoying Brooke, my older sister, and I. She should still be the baby that was sticking her tongue out the first time we saw her. She should be the baby of the family not a Senior. She has grown into a beautiful, Godly, Christian young women. Carlie is now about to graduate! She will be moving to Itawamba Community College where is in unsure what to major in. The only thing I can tell her on that is Carlie make sure do major in what God wants you too because if now you will be miserable with your job. I pray for you daily that God will protect you! I love you and wish you the best!

Her Senior Jersey says "I'm so glam... I sweat Glitter!!" We found that together while shopping in Memphis.

My Family

My parents were asked to give a charge to Carlie. They both said to stayed focused on God and allow Him to guide your path. My mom gave her Phillipians 3:16 which states: "However let us keep living by the same standard to which we have attained." (NASV).
We all love you, Carlie, and wish you the best in your college career!!
